Name files inside a folder with the same name as the folder.

Wondering if someone could help me please?

I want to name a file inside a folder with the same name as the folder and im unsure how to do this? I have multiple files and folders i want to do this with as a bulk load.

For example:

Folder 1
Image 1 (So id like to change this to the name Folder 1)

Folder 2
Image 2 (So id like to change this to the name Folder 2)

etc

You can use Append Folder Name (9) with Name (2) set to Remove.
Select all the files you want to rename in this way, you can recurse subfolders with Filters (12) -> Subfolders.

Thank you that worked and done exactly what i wanted with the name, however it's removing the .jpg
So how would i also keep the .jpg

Is Extension (11) set to 'Same'?

Try clicking Reset and then following Admin's instructions.

I pressed reset and followed the instructions, sadly it's still not working and removing the file type and in properties for said file it shows file type as "file"

If you need to add it back in, type jpg in Extension (11).

Check the option menu -> "Renaming Options -> File/Folder Extensions > Rename File Extensions as Being Part of the File Name".
It's probably enabled, and you would need to disable it to keep the extensions.
