Prevent duplicates feature

Postby oldkeg » Mon Aug 26, 2024 12:40 am

What im trying to do is to make the function rename all my duplicates, starting with 2 and not 1, e.g. "Default name of the file - is considered 1 by the program" then follows "Duplicate 2" (technically it's first "duplicate" but it should have 2 suffix) "Duplicate 3" etc.
How do I do this? I have the latest beta version of the software, but it does not seem to be able to do that.

This is important feature for me because i have large number of files where i need to exclude the numbers by the software and at same time that creates duplicates that need to be named starting from 2, not 1.

I know i can manually later change the 1 to nothing but, it would be cool if if there was default name of the file without 1.

Sorry for spamming posts but i couldn't find edit button.

I just wanted to add this metaphor for better understanding what i mean:
Just like in Rambo films, you have Rambo, Rambo 2, Rambo 3, there is no Rambo 1 or Rambo 2 that is named Rambo_1 lol

Hi, yes :) but unfortunately it is not possible with BRU.
You can do Rambo Rambo 1 Rambo 2 or Rambo 1 Rambo 2 Rambo 3
