One cannot readily manually enter a directory name into the "directory bar" - if said directory name did not exist prior to the time BRU was opened. (Or something of that nature.)
say you have a directory
c:\out\123
& you open BRU & you type 'c:\out\123' into the "directory bar"
with that, BRU displays the directory contents thereof
Now, lets say you say, "oh, "123" is not a good directory name, i should have used "abc" instead"
so you open Windows Explorer, focus on 123 & rename it to abc, & all is well.
BRU is still open, but at this point is "looking" at something that no longer exists.
No big deal.
You just type: c:\out\abc into the "directory bar".
And.
And c:\out\abc is not read.
To BRU it does not know it exists.
There is no readily (that I saw) simple means of telling BRU, hey, yes, "abc" does exist!
The directory tree does seem to be able to be refreshed.
The directory picker is awkward, & depending (?) it might or might not pick up on the change.
One should simply be able to paste a directory location into the "directory bar", & BRU should be able to use that.
(And, in messing with this, externally renaming, trying to figure a way to get BRU to pick up, to find, to see, that, yes I do exist, I had a crash?
