BRU deleted 3000 videos that I renamed.

I had a folder with 3000 videos I needed to rename. After successfully "successfully" renaming all the files I went to check the folder and all the videos were unusable. The file names were there but the videos are gone...I am shocked how simply using it for what it is intended to do had the worst possible outcome. I lost 3000 videos!

Hi, sorry to hear about that But Bulk Rename Utility just renames the files, it will not delete or change the file contents etc. Are the files still there but not playable?

Troubleshooting showed that the file extensions were accidentally removed by user - which resulted in the files being unrecognized. Restoring the file extensions fixed the problem.
